Piano
Group Piano Class Description: Group Piano is a piano-based music class designed to teach young students, music theory, music notation reading, piano technique, and performance, in a fun, gentle yet rigorous environment. Students are not required to have any music experience. If a student has some piano experience, please describe it on the registration form so the student can be initially placed most accurately.
Students may be in the first-fourth grade.
Classes are 45 minutes long and held at 9:10 and 9:55. A time will be assigned after registration based on proficiency, grade, and enrollment size.
Classes will be held at the beautiful Hagee Communicaton Center on the SAGU (Southwestern Assemblies of God University) campus in the piano lab.
Students are required to have a piano or keyboard at home to practice. Some examples are below for a good keyboard if you need to purchase one.
Classes will be held weekly except for holidays. The annual calendar can be found on this website. Students will receive 28-30 group piano classes and 1-2 group recital opportunities.
Any group piano class will require books or online software for the curriculum. The supply fee for this course has been included in the tuition, and required curriculum materials will be provided to the student.
Enrollment is for the entire school year of 28-30 group lessons.
Tuition and Supply Fee Payment is $390. $200 is due upon registration, and the remaining $190 is due by December 10th. This is a full course; the full balance is due by December 10th, and no refunds will be given.
Classes will be taught for the 2024-2025 school year by Mrs. Mina Kramer. Check out more info on the instructors page.
